Arrived at the mecca of software
Dakar, Rio de Janeiro and now San Francisco. When I was in the navy I traveled the world and last year I reached another distant port with Jayway. I've always been an adventurer who loves challenges and establishing yourself in the mecca of software development is certainly a tough one.
Among virtuosos and geniuses
Jayway opened their office in San Francisco in October 2014 and it's exciting to be here. Silicon valley is filled to the brim with cutting edge developers and creative geniuses. If something new happens within the world of tech, it is presented here. It gives me motivation and a drive, I feel very focused and work hard.
Everyone's a teacher – and a student
Regarding competence Jayway is competitive here too. I've never worked at a company with the same culture of furthering yourself and sharing knowledge. At Jayway everyone's a teacher and a student at the same time.
Every night on town is an adventure. The coolest restaurants and bars are located behind inconspicuous fronts. My favorite place right now is the the small surf town Pacifica located on the west coast just by the famous highway 1, that’s where I’m working on my surfing skills during the weekends.
